Η Ατλαντίδα στο Google Maps;

Νοτιοδυτικά των Καναρίων Νήσων (συντεταγμένες 31.334871,-24.147949 και βάθος 17,800 ποδιών) φαίνεται πως το Google Maps παρουσιάζει ένα αρκετά περίεργο στοιχείο, ή απλά κάποια λανθασμένα δεδομένα ξεγελούν το πρόγραμμα.
Όπως μπορείτε να δείτε και από την εικόνα και τον χάρτη, εμφανίζεται μια βυθισμένη περιοχή μήκους 150km με περίεργη γεωμετρία, στο σημείο που πολλοί τοποθετούν την μυθική νήσο της Ατλαντίδας.
Υπάρχει άραγε μια τέτοια περίπτωση;

Με πια λογική αποτυπώνονται στην θάλασσα οι υφές; Ανάλογα με το έδαφος από κάτω;
